Apple Care is the one year limited warranty that comes with every new Apple device. Apple Care + is the two year extended warranty that you may purchase during the first two months (one month in some countries) of life of a new device. If your Apple device is eligible to purchase Apple Care +, you can find that eligibility on the Settings page of your phone.

Since Apple last shipped the iPhone 6 Plus in September 2016, you are almost certainly not going to be able to find any iPhone 6 or 6 Plus today that Apple would recognize as a new device.
