CarPlay does not use a password, but your car's bluetooth may require a code to connect to your phone. To connect your iPhone to your car, go to the Bluetooth menu on your car and let it search for your iPhone.

On your iPhone, also go to Settings -> Bluetooth.

When your iPhone appears on your car display, select it and see if the iPhone responds and shows a code, if it is the same code it shows both on your iPhone and on the car display, then select Pair.

But, it's a little different from car to car. Look if necessary in the user manual for your car, for a more complete guide.
