I'm trying to add a credit/debit card to buy an app on the app store but it wont allow me to add a new one and delete my old card because of family sharing - it doesn't give me the option to even add a card.

Buy/redeem Apple Gift cards to the account. Charges will be deducted from the account balance before the organizer's credit card is charged.
