I can't choose song for alarm on iPhone 12

Why can't I choose a song as my alarm sound on my new iPhone 12? Is this a bug??

What happens when you try to select a song as your alarm sound? Do you not see the option to select a song, does it not play the correct sound or what behavior have you noticed?

Try setting a new alarm using the guidance from How to set and manage alarms on your iPhone. That will help to make sure it's not impacting one certain alarm.

I've done everything right.

And gone to an apple store and had them try; they also could not get song to play as alarm.

They then tried three other iPhone 12s. ALL HAD THE SAME PROBLEM.

The songs show as choices.

Said songs are in the phone's library.

But when you select a song and save the instruction, the default alarm noise still sounds, not the song.

Is this a huge bug in all iPhone 12s???
