How to update from macOS high Sierra 10.13.6 to 10.14

I have a Macbook Pro 2018 with macOS high Sierra 10.13.6. I need to update to 10.14 in order to update to, well anything else. How can I get this update? I downloaded to 10.14.6 and it won't let me install without 10.14. Any advice?

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and click on Mojave, Catalina, or Big Sur. You can go directly to the one you'd like.
