I am trying to take the password off screentime on my daughters phone but when I enter her Apple ID it will just glitch off the Apple ID screen and go to the screentime passcod screen again and say failed passcode attempt

I am trying to take the password off screentime on my daughters phone but when I enter her Apple ID it will just glitch off the Apple ID screen and go to the screentime passcod screen again and say failed passcode attempt but never say the Apple ID password was wrong and I know it’s right so I’m really confused

iPhone 8, iOS 14

Have you tried your Apple ID or the ID of whoever set up Screen Time?


If using IOS 13.4 or later, see the Apple Support article(s) below. Link to contact Apple Support at the end of the article.


Screen Time passcode reset


If necessary,  you will need to restore the device to factory settings. Do not restore from a backup made when the Screen Time code was active.


Restore to Factory setting.
