My battery health has gone down to 87% in just less than 6 months it shows that it is required to service the battery,

I got my iPhone from a shop located in Srilanka and they said that they do not guarantee the battery or replace my phone with a new one hence when I charge my iPhone to 100% it drops down to 20% without even using it for anything(maximum usage is 3hours or less), and as mentioned above I have 6 months left with the apple warranty so please let me know what I can do about with my iPhone because I have spent a lot of money on this device.

kindly help me regarding this matter,

Thank you

Hi

Was the phone purchased new, or used/refurbished?

Does the phone tell you you have 6 months left on the warranty under settings>general>about>

If it does, then contact apple support in your region by clicking "Get Support" at top right of this page.

It appears that they did not sell you a new phone. It may be possible that it was not only repaired, but possibly was lost or stolen. Unfortunately, as they are not an Apple Authorized Reseller, the Apple Limited Warranty may not apply at all and you may be stuck having to pay for a battery replacement. The only things I can suggest at this time are:

  1. Return the phone and get them to fully refund the cost.
  2. If they refuse, contact your local law enforcement agency to see if they can assist you with this.
  3. DO NOT purchase anything again from this outfit.

Good luck!
