How to transfer music from a usb memory card to iTunes
I have music on a usb memory card, but when I connect my iPod to my computer doesn’t show up on the screen

What version of macOS are you running? Do you have the iTunes app, or Music? Either way you should be able to use File > Add to Library to add content from your memory card. Make sure that you have the Copy files... option enabled in preferences, or consolidate after import. Alternatively you could copy the file into the Automatically Add to .... folder inside your media folder.
If you're running Catalina or later device management and sync operations are performed in Finder, not Music.
