MacBook Pro Thunderbolt2 and 34WK95U 5K Resolution Issue

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)

macOS Big Sur 11.2.3

AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2 GB

34WK95U

Lg OnScreen Control latest version

I'm using below cable and adapter to connect macbook pro to LG 5K monitor.

Thunderbolt 3(USB-C)-Thunderbolt 2 Adapter (MMEL2FE/A)

Apple Thunderbolt2 Cable (MD861FE/A)

But it's not working with 5K resolution like 5120x2160.

Is the Apple Thunderbolt2 Cable support 5K resolution technically?

-Are you using the USB-C or Thunderbolt cable that came with the display?

-Have you tried unplugging and replugging the display?

-If you press and hold the Option key while you're in the display resolution preferences, do you see alternative resolutions? Change your Mac display’s resolution

MacBook Pro before 2017 models do not support resolutions wider than 4096 wide unless you connect to the display with TWO display cables, AND are running Big Sur or later.

Picture-By-Picture feature in the display and MacOS Arrangement tab will re-assemble the virtual displays into one coherent picture without artifacts.

-Are you using the USB-C or Thunderbolt cable that came with the display?

: I'm using Thunderbolt 3(USB-C)-Thunderbolt 2 Adapter (MMEL2FE/A) and Thunderbolt2 Cable (MD861FE/A) Only.

I don't have a mini dp to dp adapter to change supporting DP cable or Thunderbolt3 cable.

-Have you tried unplugging and replugging the display?

: Yes, I tried that many times.

-If you press and hold the Option key while you're in the display resolution preferences, do you see alternative resolutions?

: 5120x2880 res is the only 5K range of thunderbolt2 cable and mini-dp to thunderbolt3 adapter.

But it's not fully support resolution. And also I can't find optimal res for this monitor 5120x2160 in that additional res list(Option + Resolution).
