What is the latest OS you can run on a Mac Mini from 2010?

Hi!

What is the latest OS you can run on a Mac Mini from 2010 and how do I install it.

I bought a mac mini and had to erase the HD. When I try to install a OS on it it suggest OSX Lion (the OS it was originally shipped with I guess) but it wont install it using the normal way. I think it is because Apple don't support it.

The Mid 2010 Mac Mini originally came with a 10.6 Snow Leopard Disc set.

The Mid 2010 Mac Mini can run up to macOS 10.13 High Sierra.

At this point, your best bet is to create a 10.13 High Sierra bootable installer on a flash drive.

FWIW you can also use DiskMaker 7 to create a bootable 10.13 High Sierra Installer.
