Apple Watch SE

I am about to buy an Apple Watch and need some help please. From reading I understand a series 3 will not track steps while pushing a pram/stroller, a Series 6 will track steps while pushing a pram/stroller. Does an Apple Watch SE track steps when pushing a pram/stroller?
