connect MacBook Pro and iPad Pro wirelessly to Panasonic viera tv without buying anything

How can I connect my MacBook Pro or iPad Pro to a Panasonic viera tv wirelessly without buying Apple TV or any 3rd party software?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

You cannot. The Panasonic Viera does not support Airplay 2 which is what the Macbook and iPad require for wireless connection.


Some Apps, like Youtube, that support Google´s Chrome Cast may be able to Cast to the Viera if it supports Chromecasting.

If your TV is a supported model, you may also be able to use the Panasonic Mirror App from the iPad: link-> Mirror for Panasonic Smart TV on the App Store
