2G in iOS 14
I have not found any options to use 2G network for voice calling in iOS 14. But I need to use 2G for some purposes. How can I do it?

With the advancement of technology, introduction of 5G is welcomed by all of us. In Bangladesh, 4G is the maximum here. But, in some remote places, the network strength of 3G or 4G is comparatively low than that of 2G. Where, there might have required of using 2G network for voice calling only. So, if there’s possible to have an option of 2G in the iOS 14 as any interface, that might be helpful in some cases. By the way, I do agree with the comments of MR. KiltedTim.

Thank you so much for your suggestion. But I would like to let you know that I usually find out 2g, 3g and 4g options in my another iPhone 5s with iOS 12.5.2. Where as I can only find out 3g and 4g options at my iPhone XR with iOS 14.4.2 at the same place with the same carrier.
So, I am confused here. Does the iOS matter here or carrier?
Thank you again.
Hello there, mohammad_akanda!
From our understanding, you're unable to connect to a 2G network on your iPhone. We know how important it can be that you're able to connect to the best cellular network for you.
In this case, we'd recommend reaching out to your carrier to see if they offer the 2G option for your device. They'd be the best hands possible to assist.
Have a great day!
You can not force the device down to 2G. If there is no usable LTE or 3G network available, it will try to fall back to 2G.
Virtually every 2G network on the planet has either already shut down or is in the process of shutting down.
That's an issue you will have to take up with your carrier.
You can disagree if you like, but it will not alter reality in any way.
