Why my iPhone 6 Plus doesn’t show new software update. It’s ios is 12.5

The iPhone 6 Plus was discontinued 4 1/2 years ago. It is not capable of running a version of iOS that can talk to that watch.

Either return the watch and get your money back, or buy a newer phone.

There is nothing anyone here can do about it. We are NOT Apple. This is a user forum.

That’s because your iPhone 6 Plus internal hardware is too old for iOS 14. The iOS 12.5 is the highest it can go. Also, everybody in this forum, only users of Apple products, no Apple employees.

You got no choice, buy new iPhone to connect with Apple watch.
