Retrieve Photos on IPhone XR

My IPhone XR suddenly shut down and restarted in factory settings mode.

I was able to configure all the data back except for the photos. The photos weren’t backed up.

My phone is working now but the photos aren’t there. All albums, recently deleted photos etc show as 0.

Is there any way to get the photos back?

If you never took a backup then no.
