How can I get a refund and cancel a app my granddaughter’s hit by mistake. She thought it was free

Not automatically, no. Click on the Report A Problem link in my previous post. Even that does not guarantee a refund. Realize Apple's terms of purchase for most countries are effectively, "All Transactions are final" (check terms at: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/us/terms.html ). Apple does refund on a case by case basis, but they can also refuse.
