Until recently I have been happily uploading to apple music from my external CD/DVD now I cannot add anything to library without getting this error. I have tried other external drives with same result any suggestions? I have an iMac (27-inch, Late 2012) running OS Catalina 10.15.7 and Music 1.0.6.10 thanks in advance

Hi I have now re-loaded all my music (in small batches) via add to library and I can now upload from CDRom which is good thans. I now have issues with Finder that keeps 'hanging' in the background and only answer appears to be to a hard reset??
Might pay to check on the health of your hard drive with Disk Utility.

"" doesn't seem like a valid volume name to me. Perhaps that is part of the problem. What is the setting for your media folder under Music > Preferences > Files?

I have deleted all my music on desktop rebooted iMac and now get this error message when trying to re-install fro CD Rom and/or external HDD???? Driving me mad it was all ok and then suddenly started with error from CD!!!!
