My safari lost it's back and forward button.

Subject line said it all. My back and forward buttons are gone. I tried closing and reopening safari browser, and restarting my Mac. Nothing. I would uninstall and reinstall Safari, but that is not an option on Macs.

  • Add a button: Choose View > Customize Toolbar, then drag an item from the palette to the toolbar until you see a plus sign .
  • or drag the default set into the toolbar.
