OS X- No packages were eligible for install

Hi there,

I’ve been trying to reset my MacBook and somewhere along the way deleted the Macintosh HD internal drive, I’ve followed some recommendations on here for similar issues but nothing seems to work! Every time I try a different recommendation I keep getting the message after about 2 hours of waiting/loading “no packages were eligible for install”

This may indicate you are using an old installer application version or a corrupt installer. Delete the Install macOS application from your Applications folder and then download the one you need from this link --> different versions of macOS - https://support.apple.com/HT211683

High Sierra and newer will download through the Mac App Store application and you will need to open their download links in Safari.
