If you wish to turn off/remove the lock screen passcode, follow the steps below:
- Open iPhone Settings.
- Tap Face ID & Passcode or Touch ID & Passcode.
- Enter your current iPhone passcode to proceed.
- Tap Turn Passcode Off.
- Enter the passcode to turn it off.
Now, if you have forgotten your current passcode, you will have to put your iPhone in Recovery Mode. Then connect to a Mac or PC and follow the steps shown here.
