How do I cancel an activity

I fell asleep wearing my apple watch. Sometime during the night, I activated a fitness application that also started an activity.

I know how to dig through the app and delete that data.

HOWEVER

Calories and other amounts will remain embedded within else where in the app. Therefore showing inflated activity.

SO HOW DO I

when I notice the rogue activity how do I cancel it so I don’t have to do surgery within the app to get rid of its data.

You can try finding the workout in the fitness app on your iPhone then swiping left then tapping delete.

If it doesn't remove all the data then you'd need to dig in the health app.

Workout

Move calories

etc and delete that way.

I can make 2 suggestions so that this doesn't happen in the future.

1) Engage the water lock, this will prevent anything from touching the screen activating it

2) Make a different watch face without anything on it.
