My snooze is snoozing itself!

To help isolate this issue some more, let's have you delete all your alarms and then add a single alarm and test to see if you experience the same issue.

Set an alarm on iPhone

go to alarms in clock app. Click edit top left, choose an alarm to edit, turn off snooze

I turned off the snooze alarm and I don’t seem to be having this problem anymore. Also I did notice if my phone isn’t sitting on a sturdy flat surface it will go straight to snooze. I had the phone on my bed and once in my purse and the alarm didn’t go off. Not sure if this will help you…..Hopefully apple can fix this soon

Just a guess but think this is being caused by using multiple alarms which are overlapping each other if got set around the same time as a 'back up' to make sure you get up!

I use the iphone one, and an App one.

So because the App one is coming on a few minutes after the iphone one, its like it is overriding the apple one,

and then when that one is turn off, it then allows the iphone on to ring (which has defaulted to snooze) and it comes on 'randomly' about 5 or 10mins after I have got up.

When an alarm is created the snooze feature auto selects. So you have to go back and edit an alarm then toggle the snooze off.

I have the same issue. I even reset the iPhone and it still happens. I found out that only when the screen is off- this bug will happen- going straight to snooze. If the screen is on, the alarm works (which usually doesn’t help me cause when I sleep the screen is off..). And idea what to do?

Hello, still having the same issue! Has anyone found that this started happening after the latest update? This started for me just a few weeks ago. I did a hard reset and everything and it still continues being an issue. Can we please get some help on this Apple?!

Me too! I have the new IPhone 13 and I am having the same issues. I set 3 alarms and they will all snooze the same time. It is waking me up 30 mins later. They snooze all at the same time. Today I am late for work and it takes me 45 mins to drive to work so it makes it rough morning.

I am having the same problem described. I am wondering if it is happening when your alarm is set prior to the focus or sleep time settings. I’m gonna try turning off my sleep and do not disturb and see if my alarm works then.

This has also effected being able to use other alarm apps.

I don’t have multiple alarms set but this just started happening to me. My alarm will briefly ring and then automatically snooze itself. The alarm is set through the Sleep Schedule. I’m turning off the snooze option to see if that helps.

This is happening to me as well, the alarm goes straight to snooze without making a sound. Please help.

Apple please i beg for you to fix this i just started collage and im already getting warnings i could lose my education because of this!

I’m struggling with the same issue of the alarm going straight to snooze without any sound. I deleted and reinstalled the app with no success. A hard reset was also suggested and done as well as resetting the phone to factory settings and I’m still having the same issue. Any other suggestions?

this just started happening to me too. my alarm wouldn’t go off and i thought i was just sleeping through them till i tested it and seem that it just went straight to snooze without making a single sound. i tried restarting my phone and reinstalling the app but nothing has helped
