How to compress iPhone videos?

I took a 39 second video, but it's file size as a .MOV file is over 274 MB and too large to email. How can I reduce the file size for emailing the Video file without compromising the quality?

You can use iMovie and export the video as lower quality such as 720p or lower to reduce the file size of a video. The videos are by default this large due to the fact that newer video qualities/formats take up more storage.
