I want to cancel a free trial before I am charged

I want to cancel my order for an App - Adobe LIghtroom - I want to cancel before the free trial ends. I go to the App store to cancel - and it has no way to cancel - it sends me to Adobe to cancel - both places will not allow me to cancel. I have the App Downloaded too!

Note:

• "If you don’t see Cancel Subscription, then the subscription is already canceled and won't renew." The "Expires" date means the current subscription will just run until then.

• Deleting an app does not cancel a subscription.

• If you don’t cancel trials more than 24 hours before your renewal date, your subscription might renew.

• If you don't have an Apple device, see the options near the very bottom of the support document

If you still can't find a subscription, contact Apple Support using the link at the end of the support article.

In my very first post there is a link to an official Apple document with the instructions on how to cancel a subscription. Please click on it and read it. I could try copying and pasting the whole thing here but my browser makes a mess of formatting when I do that so it would just be very confusing.


You do it before it starts charging you by, errr..., doing it before it starts charging you. If you don't then you will have to pay and then ask Apple for a refund which if they grant it to you (no guarantee) may take up to two months to arrive back in your account.
