I want to cancel a free trial before I am charged

• "If you don’t see Cancel Subscription, then the subscription is already canceled and won't renew." The "Expires" date means the current subscription will just run until then.

• Deleting an app does not cancel a subscription.

• If you don’t cancel trials more than 24 hours before your renewal date, your subscription might renew.

• If you don't have an Apple device, see the options near the very bottom of the support document

Many trials turn into paid subscriptions. What you're actually trying to do is stop the subscription from renewing under a pay basis.

If you're just using an app that is free until you have to pay up then just not pay up when it ends, or just stop using the app altogether whenever you want to.

In my very first post there is a link to an official Apple document with the instructions on how to cancel a subscription. Please click on it and read it. I could try copying and pasting the whole thing here but my browser makes a mess of formatting when I do that so it would just be very confusing.

You do it before it starts charging you by, errr..., doing it before it starts charging you. If you don't then you will have to pay and then ask Apple for a refund which if they grant it to you (no guarantee) may take up to two months to arrive back in your account.

Incidentally, it helps if you start your own topic instead of tagging onto another person's unless your question is so identical we won't need to handle it separately. :-) I had assumed you had read everything I had posted already and since your question was essentially the same that everything had already been answered.

This only tells how to cancel a subscription. It doesn’t say how to cancel a free trial

Limnos I tried the app to solve a problem on my hacked Facebook account. And it did not work for my intended purpose. So I do not want to pay for the subscriptions.

And I don’t know how to cancel before the charges start.
