Try an SMC Reset.

Press the Caps Lock key to see if its LED lights up which indicates the laptop is booting, but there is no video on the screen. You can also try connecting an external display to the laptop. Sometimes to get video to the external display you need to close the lid of the laptop to force video to the external display (you will need an external keyboard & mouse to use the laptop this way). If an external display has video, but the built-in Display does not, then the built-in Display is bad and the laptop needs repaired. You can try closing the lid of the display and slowly opening it to see if the built-in display lights up. There is a known issue with these laptops where the display goes out once it is opened more than about 45 degrees.

Are you connecting the charger directly to the laptop? The laptop may not receive the full power of the charger if you are using a multi-port adapter, dock, or hub with the charger. Also disconnect all external devices. Try using the charger on each USB-C port especially one on the other side of the laptop. Also rotate the connector of the charging cable 180 degrees upside down (try on each port as well). I know that sounds weird, but it may allow you to charge or power the laptop.

Make sure you are using the 96W (or is it 97W I forget) charger. A smaller charger will not power on this laptop although it will slowly charge the laptop when the laptop is powered off.

If none of this works or if you find the built-in display, or one or more of the USB-C ports are not working correctly, then you will need to have Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider examine the laptop to provide you with a repair estimate.
