How do I fix this situation? please help. I was able to see the words on my ip Xs max but not in my macbook.

From the screenshot you shared, it looks like the font in question is appearing within the Slack app. Is that the only app where you are seeing these squares or does the same thing occur within other apps also? Is the font a specialty font or one of the built-in fonts that came with macOS? If you change the font on this Mac, does the channel name appear correctly? If the issue is specific to the Slack app, you may want to reach out to their support using this Contact Us - Slack link.
