Purchase of gift card

I have been trying to purchase a gift card for my daughter. It was rejected by my credit card. Now the will accept the purchase but Apple is saying I have a lot of money in my box and I only want the first try amount in there. What can I do

iTunes Store credit can't be spent on any type of gift.
