Pausing video recording

For the love of the Lord, why, after all these years can a user not pause video recording on an iphone? Its such a useful tool for creativity. Please add pause feature to video recording.

Thanks for that! I thought this forum was also monitored by Apple. I submitted the feature request. Its such a basic feature though you’d think it would be a no-brainer.

They only moderate naughty posts when reported by members on levels 2 and above.

I guess I tend to film separate “takes” and stitch them together in iMovie
