Restoring Library after reformatting hardrive

I recently had a computer crash and I lost everything on my hardrive and had to reformat without backing anything up, afterwards when i logged into my itunes account all of my purchases and songs in my library were gone, can i restore my itunes purchases and library?

Dell Inspiron 1501, Windows XP, none

This is why always maintaining a backup is basic. Computers do not always announce their pending failure, so a backup should ALWAYS be kept.

You only get ONE download. It is your responsibility to backup your purchases.

You can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod:

File>Transfer Purchases
