You were notified that it was a recurring subscription when you first signed up. You are responsible for cancelling the subscription before the next billing cycle if you don't want to be charged for it.
Cancel the subscription so that you don't get billed again.
If you sign up for a subscription, you don't get a notice every time the subscription renews. It's your responsibility to end a subscription before it charges if you don't want it.
