Uninstall the App:
VPN Software just get in the way on Apple devices, and this is a pure example of how and why. So, being a mobile device (iPhone), all you need to do is hold you finger down on its icon, and then just click then "X" when it wiggles.
You really don't need a VPN on iPhone to begin with. But Tessarax is correct. Contact the app developer for help with their app.
Then I suggest that you contact this app's Developer for assistance with their app.
