Connect iPhone 4 to mac via Bluetooth

Hi all,

I am unable to connect my iPhone 4 to my iMac 27" via bluetooth. Here is what I try:

1) System Pref >> Bluetooth >> +
2) Select by iPhone that appears
3) Accept Pair code on iPhone
4) I get a success message
5) I then manually connect from the bluetooth screen, it flashes green for a second, then red (not connected

I have tried this process several times, tried forget this device on iPhone, restarting the iPhone, removing it from the iMac bluetooth screen, the starting again, same happens every time.

I am trying to use a program called Dialectic running, which enables me to dial from my iMac and have the request sent via Bluetooth to my iPhone.

I am trying a CRM/Project management tool called Daylite, Dialectic works with this, it just makes things that little bit easier, if I have a task to ring a client setup in Daylite, I just click on it in Daylite and then it starts dialing out on my iPhone.

I make quite a lot of calls during the day, this will save me a little bit of time, plus allow me to track the calls I make.
