Terminal on macOS

I keep getting this in my terminal. I am unable to type or put any commands on my terminal. I tried going to setting and couldn't find anything on system preferences. I just got this laptop and am not the best in tech sorry. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There appears to be a configuration issue with the default shell you are trying to use with your Mac.
