Software Update taking a long time

I am activating an iPhone 12 and it started the Software Update 4.4.2. I has bee on "Install Now" with the rotating progress for over 4 hours. It is connected to a power supply (100% charged) and is on Wifi.

Is there something wrong?

iPhone 7, iOS 14

Did you tap on Install Now? That’s a “button”, not a progress message.
