The Apple Watch Series 6 has a 50 meters of water resistance, meaning you will be fine when you go for a swim or sweat during a workout.
To take advantage when swimming with Apple Watch, open up control center (swipe up from bottom of the screen) and turn on Water Lock (water drop symbol) to avoid accidental touches to the screen when swimming.
NO Watch is “water proof”
ONLY “Water Resistant”.
