Google Search Home Page Missing Account and App Icons using Safari

Suddenly today all the google app icons (drive, calendar, etc) and my account image disappeared from the upper right of google home page. Only in safari (visible in Chrome and Firefox from the same computer). Tried restarting. No change.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 11.2

  1. Restart your Mac.

  Launch Safari holding the shift key down and test.

2 Startup in  safe mode to try to isolate the cause of the issue.

  • Select your account and login.
  • Test.

  To leave Safe Mode, click Apple logo   in the menu bar and choose “Restart”.

     Test the site again
