Powerbank

Hello,

I have a MacBook Air 2018. I recently bought a Laptop powerbank with 40.000 mAh (148 Wh)(Mobisun) for mobile work. The powerbank has a USB Type-C output of 5V/9V/12V (20V). On my laptop I see that the powerbank is connected but on the display there is mentioned : 'Battery is not charging'.

Do you know how it's possible that the Mac Book Air is not charged ?

Many thanks in advance

Hello Mr. Phillips,

Thanks for your quick answer. Indeed I have Big Sur installed on my Mac Book Air.

Is it possible that my powerbank doesn't give enough power to my MacBook Air ? Or, what should be the output power needed to charge the laptop (compatible with the normal charger ?).

As the powerbank was quite expensive it should surprise me that the powerbank hasn't enough power.
