Airdrop is only one way!
My Macbook Air M1 can find my iPhone 11 Pro Max; in contrast, the phone cannot find the Mac. Please help to advise me. Both devices are on "Airdrop Everyone"
iPhone 11 Pro Max, iOS 14

Tested yesterday on a MacBook Pro - M1 Big Sur 11.2.3, with iPhone XR running IOS 14.4.2. It was successful.
Restart your Mac and your iPhone and check that both devices have Bluetooth AND wifi connection.

Sorry about that, Reena.
I'm not familiar with macOS, so I can't guide you to verify your MBA settings.
I suggest that you contact Apple Support directly and ask them about that matter, using this link:--> https://getsupport.apple.com/
Thanks and regards

It was still unsuccessful in my side.
My iPhone 11 Pro Max can find other iPhones around BUT the Macbook Air M1. Both devices are on Bluetooth and connect to the same wifi.
Doubting if there is any change i should make on the Mac's system preferences. Right now: firewall is off, Bluetooth is on, airdrop is for everyone
Thank you,
Reena
