Light Mode/ Dark Mode in Maps (April 2021)

I recently saw a post asking how to turn Maps to light mode, whilst keeping your overall phone’s settings in dark mode. I have checked on both settings and in the Maps app, and there is no option to do this anymore. Wondering if anyone knew how to remedy this?
