My Iphone XR camera doesn't show the timer

Hello fbates3, Thanks for reaching out to us for support. This is certainly not the experience that we want you to have with the camera on your iPhone, and we are going to do everything we can to help you. When you have a free moment, please give the steps below a try.

1) Unlock your iPhone and launch the Camera app from the home screen.

2) Next, select a countdown for the timer. You have two options: three or 10 seconds.

3) Select the shutter button to start the self-timer. If you want to stop the timer at any point, tap the stop button.

The reason we ask you to give the steps above a try is because they can potentially resolve your issue.

If you’re still experiencing the same problem after completing the steps above, please try restarting your device followed by testing, and let us know if you're still having the same issue with the timer.
