MAIL freezes constantly

The Apple MAIL app is freezing constantly on my 15" 2018 MacBook Pro

Startup in Safe mode. https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201262

Login to your account and test.

To leave Safe Mode, click  in the menu bar and choose “Restart”
