MagSafe Wallet Animation not detected when attached

I know there are threads about the cases not detecting. That is working fine for me with a clear iPhone 12 Pro MagSafe case. However with the case on, I am not seeing the animation when attaching the wallet. I took off the case and the phone detected it, but not with the case on. Any ideas?
