Does Bitdefender for Mac work with Big Sur Mac OS

It works perfectly to interfere with the operating system and other applications; finds no viruses; does not prevent you from installing adware and malware; provides false positives about legitimate operating system and application components, and serves no other purpose than to steal your operating system performance., and money for subscriptions.

Still wondering why we do not recommend any anti-virus software on the Mac? There are years of problem posts here that were resolved by fully uninstalling the brand-x anti-virus software that was the cause.

no-one here is going to recommend ANY antivirus software for macOS. apple's built in security and some common sense is the only protection you need.

Are there any AntiVirus, Disk Cleaner, Optimizers, Defrag, VPNs etc installed which should be removed as per Developers Instructions. They are useless, unneeded, cause havoc and interfere with the normal operation of the OS and can corrupt the Os to the point it requires a Reinstallation

Bitdefender has caught a lot of issues — trojans etc on my Macbook Air.

Or, did it just tell you it did to make you feel better about having it installed?
