The control strip on the top of my mac that has esc, brightness, sound etc does not respond

My MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2018, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports) does not respond on its control strip at top that has esc, brightness sound etc

Mac Pro, macOS 10.12
