iphone hacked

I received a message saying my phone was hacked and someone was viewing my phone's information. I didnt' feel safe following the instructions to fix it. Was this Apple sending the message? It also sounds a high pitched sound.

That’s a scam.

There are lots of those around.

Some are email. Some are messages.

Some are web pop-ups. Some will show you your old passwords, those acquired from web service breaches that you’ve been caught up in.

What sort of scam message are you looking at?
