Cropping Icon Disappeared
Where is the crop icon I frequently use to crop pictures in the edit function of the picture app on my iphone8 and ipad? I have the latest IOS update installed. The icon was there before the update.

That is weird. I suggest first try a forced restart.
Iphone 8 - Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the side button. When the Apple logo appears, release the button.
