Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you would like to make sure your iPhone is charging on your MagSafe Duo charger.

If your iPhone is charging, you will see a lightning bolt symbol in your battery icon. Check out Charge and monitor the iPhone battery which shows how the battery icon will appear. You might find the How to use your MagSafe Duo Charger with iPhone 12 models and Apple Watch article helpful as well.
