I am unable to delete application on my MacBook Air. Whenever I enter the password to delete the application it is saying that it is incorrect when I know for a fact that it is correct. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks 🙏🏻

Then that is Proof the account you are Logged Into does not have Admin Privileges. An Admin account can delete another account and Non Admin Account can not.

The Password for the Computer is the same Password used to Remove the Application. That is, If your account is an Administrative Account. If you account is Not - contact the Administrator of this computer.
Are the Apps in question Third Party Apps ?
Go the the Developer of the Application( s ) you download and ask them. It is their Application and should support or provide a means to Delete their Application.
it's not only about applications, when I go to Users & Groups in System preferences, click on the old account, hit the - sign to delete it and enter the password, the popup shakes like the password didn't work. I'm sure the password is correct because I used it multiple times to log into the account
