Epson Printer Utility 4 Cannot be launched

I've been struggling with my Epson L1800 for quite some time now.

I'm running Big Sur and even with the previous Mac OS I usually had flaws when printing which was "easily"resolved by Cleaning Print Heads (System Preferences | Printers & Scanners | Utility | Clean Print Heads). However it does not make the trick any longer so the support pointed to "Open Printer Utility" but then again it can't be opened no matter what I do.

I checked all drivers and updates (all seems to be ok according to Epson Updater).

It's rather a shame that Epson is taking too long to resolve this issue.
