My grandmother has an Apple Watch with GPS (NO Cellular option). She has fallen twice outside and fall detection did not go off. Is it because her watch is out of range from her phone (which was in the house)?
Does fall detection not work if the phone is out of range from the watch?

Thank you! Her watch shows in range from her front yard to the living room (where her phone usually is when she takes her dog out). Maybe I need to check the wifi calling options...
